  • One of the most important and well known regions/Eras in the advancement of human society are the Mesopotamian, Egyptian, and Norte Chico eras.
  • The Egyptians and Mesopotamians did not have many of their art and relics revealed. 
  • Indus Valley community emerging. 
  • These individuals are mainly referenced to having great measures of innovation comparable to any other human races at the time.
  •   They had specific types of architecture and classical engineering styles, like exact measurements, to ensure that structures would be supported and built correctly.
  • They even created the concept of bricks being all one size.
  • Gradually the possibility of fairness in started to shrink away. As roches and status’s began to emerge.
  • What also became prevalent in this day and age was the idea of Patriarchy, and that men were far superior to females.

Chapter 7 trade and the exchange of goods was the most common theme  the trading of goods in this mainly focuses on the 3 main routes that travel across the mediterranean sea.  Silk Road Sea, the Red Sea, and The Indian Ocean Trade Route Sand Road.  Due to the extremely different climates and environments of these geographical locations on earth these routes were on, it was recognized that needs for other resources were needed, and instead of migrating civilizations could evolve and gather what they need in order to exchange something of value for something of value with another society.  The silk road was what connected China and India, this brought upon the exchanges of Buddhism and Hindu practices.  Much more than just raw material was traded along these routes, merchants would spread religion, thoughts, ideas, philosophies, and much more.

WEEK 2

The agricultural revolution coincided with the end of the first ice age. The warmer, wetter, and more stable conditions permitted to the flourishing of wild plants, esspecially cereal grasses, which are the ancestors of many domesticated crops in todays world. Eventually, gatherers and hunters would begin to see scarce amounts of food throughout the different seasons. Therefore they would cycle through locations based on the knowledge of the climate, and how fertile the land was in that time of year. The women in particular had long been intamatley asscioated with collecting edible plants and they were likely the innovators who led the way of deliberate farming. This would attack the problem of potentially running out of food. Everywhere that began farming started out with basic technologies which included the digging stick or hoe.
